DataSETUP modules in action – presenting first findings of the module pilots at the IASE 2025 Satellite Conference

At the IASE 2025 Satellite Conference, statistics and data science educators from around the globe met to discuss and exchange ideas on this year’s conference theme “Statistics and Data Science Education in STEAM” – a great opportunity to disseminate the DataSETUP project ideas and modules.

Sibel Kazak, Maria Meletiou-Mavrotheris and Dionysia Bakogianni of the project consortium gave two presentations on research that accompanied the first round of implementation of the DataSETUP modules at the partner institutions earlier this year.

The DataSETUP framework EDUCATE was also used for the analysis of teaching scenarios in the Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership project DataScEd4CiEn. Great to see synergies between different projects that aim towards strengthening data science education from different perspectives!
