Emphasising Education: DataSETUP at the 65th ISI World Statistics Congress

During the International Statistical Institute‘s (ISI) 65th World Statistics Congress in The Hague, statisticians and data scientists gathered to present and discuss research in their discipline. Of course, data science education was an issue that arose on multiple occasions, highlighting its role within the field.

Aisling Leavy, Daniel Frischemeier & Lisa Birk represented the DataSETUP project consortium and presented the DataSETUP project in an Invited Paper Session. The Congress was a great opportunity to network and exchange ideas not only with data science educators, but also with data scientists and statisticians who provide a different perspective on common themes.

Thanks to everyone for the valuable discussions and to our team members for representing DataSETUP!
