This module, Data Science and Applications in Educational Research, explores different types of large-scale data available to educational researchers, with a focus on survey data and process data from large-scale assessments, as well as learning analytics. By the end of the module, participants will have a deeper understanding of the differences between survey data and process (or log) data, along with a greater awareness of their relevance and potential within educational research and practice.
